5 tips for improving your health.
1. Drink more water
Your body is made up of about 60% water! Water is essential in order to sustain life. Every cell in your body needs water to function. If you are not drinking enough water, you are doing your body a huge disservice and not help it to function optimally.

**Do not guzzle all your water at one time. Drink it through out the day in order to insure proper hydration.** 

2. Limit processed foods
Reading labels can be quit tricky and even confusing when looking at packaged foods. Labels can be deceiving and who has time to read every single one at the grocery store? Grocery shopping can be stressful and time consuming. Especially for those with busy lives. Your best bet is buy food that doesn't have an ingredients list. When you buy an apple, you know it is an apple. 

** Buying more fruits and vegetables is a simple way to cut back on processed foods.** 


3. Exercise
Getting daily exercise has a mountain of benefits for your health. Below are just a few of the main benefits you may see from starting an exercise program.

May lower all of the following-cholesterol, risk of heart disease, blood pressure, and triglyceride levels.

May Improve-body composition, weight, oxygen levels in the body, mental state, and cardiorespiratory fitness(heart and lungs).

**Before starting any exercise program consult with your doctor to see what type of program would be most suitable and appropriate for you.**

4. Learn to cook
There is nothing better than a home cooked meal. When cooking your own food, you know exactly what is in it, and this is so important for improving your health. I can not stress enough how important it is to know what it is you are putting into your body every single day. When we let others do the cooking for us, we loose control of what we want and don't want to be in our food. Big cooperations and even some restaurants don't always have the best intentions when it comes to food quality. A lot of the time they care more about profits than they do about your health. 

**If you are new to cooking strive to cook just one meal at home a week to get started. You don't need to cook every single meal right away if you are not use to cooking at all. Take baby steps. It takes time to learn how to cook, so be sure to enjoy the process, and all the delicious home cooked meals to come!

5. Switch to clean personal care products 
Did you know less than 2% of synthetic chemicals have actually been tested for toxicity, carcinogenic, mutagenic, and birth defects. Some of these synthetic chemicals are even in your personal care and cleaning products. Scary....I know! People put lotions, creams, make-up, etc on their skin every day with out really know what is in it. Some personal care products don't ever have to list ingredients at all...like feminine products.
