I received my degree in Osteopathic Medicine from the Kansas City University of Medicine in 1982. Double-boarded in emergency medicine, I now am board certified in Anti-Aging Medicine & have completed a two year fellowship in Functional Medicine.

In my practice, we focus on preventing and predicting disease and to seek out the root/underlying cause of a patient's complaints. We utilize Bio-identical Hormones, Phototherapy, pharmaceutical grade nutrients from compounding pharmacies as well as new, old & forgotten science based treatment options.

I like to call our specialty the new approach to medicine because Anti-Aging Medicine is the early detection, prevention, treatment & reversal of age related decline. Functional Medicine is a science-based integrative approach that treats illness & promotes wellness by focusing on the bio-chemically unique aspects of each patient & then individually tailoring treatment to restore balance.

Most people that come to see me in the practice are from patient referrals or are frustrated with the present medical system. They do not want to be just put on medication and want to know what is wrong with them, what is the underlying cause of a problem. Maybe they are looking for an alternative to a surgery. And many are sick and tired of being sick and tired. As our population ages, as the toxins in our environment increase, as our foods become increasingly refined, more and more people are seeking out our help.

Patients for the most part feel better and are happy with their treatments. It's an exciting field to be in.
