Annie is an experienced nutritionist having graduated from The Institute of
Optimum Nutrition (ION) London UK in 1998 with credit. Her depth of knowledge
expands across many health conditions. Her specialty is IBS and Digestive
Disorders. Annie was a partner in The IBS & Gut Disorder Centre, London
which was awarded runner up in CAM Awards UK in 2009 for outstanding
practice. She now brings her expertise to Los Angeles.
The body wants to heal itself so Annie gives advice on foods that help restore
your deficiencies and imbalances. She also tells you what foods to avoid or
reduce that are exacerbating your condition.
Annie learnt cooking from an early age using fresh organic vegetables and
unadulterated foods from the farm where she was brought up. She explains to
her clients how to prepare nourishing dishes without spending hours in the
kitchen.
An important area of Annie's work is to discover the underlying causes of your
illness so the right strategy with food and supplements can be recommended.
Nutritional therapy reaches deeper than just relieving the pain but addresses
why the pain is there and correcting the malfunction at cellular level. Healthy
cells need the right nutrients!
Her passion is to help people to be their best with a strong foundation of healthy
eating and positive lifestyle. She sees her role as an educator, motivator and
encourager as she listens to her clients and imparts their personal nutritional
plan for them.
