Vascular Health: OPC-Sorb provides a blend of polyphenol compounds, including EGCG and oligomeric proanthocyanidins (OPCs), low molecular weight flavonoid polymers, to promote antioxidant defenses and vascular health. Studies suggest these compounds enhance vascular strength and elasticity, in part by supporting collagen stabilization and the maintenance of elastin, two key proteins found in connective tissue and blood vessels. Additionally, polyphenols support healthy fluid balance by promoting lymphatic circulation.*

Cellular Health: OPC-Sorb provides powerful antioxidant support for cellular and cardiovascular health. Studies indicate that polyphenols, particularly OPCs and EGCG, support antioxidant defenses and maintain healthy cytokine balance to promote cellular, arterial and lipoprotein health. Leucoselect ® Phytosome ® is a grape seed formulation with a high concentration of procyanidin oligimers combined with soy lecithin to enhance absorption. Clinical pilot trials indicate that Leucoselect ® Phytosome ® offers antioxidant support for cardiovascular and immune health. In one clinical pilot trial, Leucoselect ® Phytosome ® provided support for immune health by promoting T helper 1 (Th1) response.*

What Is The Source?

Leucoselect ® grape seed phytosome contains grape seed ( Vitis vinifera ) extract standardized to contain 25% polyphenols, and phospholipids derived from soy. Wild blueberry extract is derived from Vaccinium angustifolium fruit and standardized to contain 4% polyphenols. Maritime pine bark extract is derived from Pinus radiata and contains typically 80% proanthocyanidins. Green tea extract is derived from Camellia sinensis leaf and standardized to contain a minimum of 90% total tea catechins and 70% epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG). Hypo-allergenic plant fiber is derived from pine cellulose.

Are There Any Potential Side Effects Or Precautions?

If pregnant or lactating, consult your physician before taking this product. In research studies, grape seed extract has been associated with headache, abdominal pain, sore throat, nausea and cough, but these effects occur at rates similar to placebo. In rare cases, green tea can cause dizziness, insomnia, agitation or fatigue. Consult your physician for more information.

Are There Any Potential Drug Interactions?

This product has a blood thinning effect and therefore may be contra-indicated with blood thinning medications. Green tea extract may interfere with the absorption and effectiveness of a number of other medications, including certain heart, anti-diarrhea, cold and hay fever medications.
