Liposomal Recharge liquid offers the antioxidants glutathione and vitamin C in a liposomal form. Glutathione is a peptide composed of glutamine, cysteine and glycine. Liposomes help to protect peptide bonds from degradation that can occur during digestion. Liposomal N-acetyl-L-cysteine is also included as a source of the key precursor cysteine to support glutathione production in the body. Glutathione is found in virtually every cell of the body and plays a critical role in protein synthesis, enzyme function, transport, and cell maturation. It is also one of the main endogenous antioxidants, acting to recycle other antioxidants and to protect the body from free radicals. Optimal levels of glutathione have been associated with physical and mental health.
