Dr. Aziz began in 1988 as a humble 1,000-square-foot pharmacy staffed by one employee: the founder, Purdue Alumni Hamid Abbaspour. With a passion for serving the terminally ill and chronically ill, Dr. Aziz Pharmacy treated AIDS patients in the ‘90s who often had nowhere else to go. Since then, it has continued to expand its care by providing a medical practice, customized compounding, medical equipment and supplies, and nutritional support.

Dr. Aziz and its two locations are named in honor of Hamid’s late oldest brother, Dr. Aziz Abbaspour. Though he lost his battle to cancer, Aziz’s contributions to the medical field and his passion for helping others are what continue to inspire Dr. Aziz’s philosophy today and our commitment to providing the best service we can.
