At Family Medicine Shady Grove we believe in choosing supplements that are mostly plant based and free of additives (called fillers) so we get the most benefit of the needed active ingredient in its purest form. The supplement industry is not regulated and thus OTC supplements can be poorly tolerated and/or ineffectively absorbed even though they may be slightly cheaper. Therefore we recommend pure encapsulations brand to our patients and have been recommending them since 2014 with great results and positive feedback from patients. We also carry some of them in our office for patient convenience. As a patient of our practice, you will receive additional 15% discount at the check out.
